These crackers are delicious and highly nutritious, and the kids will love them too.
Full of Omega-3’s, magnesium, selenium, zinc, calcium and protein. A great lunchbox filler
and a wonderful snack with hummus for a high protein snack.
1/2 cup of Sunflower seeds
1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup of Flaxseeds
1/2 cup of sesame seeds
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 cup of spelt flour
1 tsp of iodised salt or sea salt
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius. Place all the seeds, salt and flour in a large bowl and
stir until well combined. Add the oil and water and mix to form a dough consistency. Take
two pieces of baking paper and roll the mixture between the 2 sheets using your hands to
flatten to 3mm thick. Bake on two large baking trays for 18 minutes or until golden and
crisp.
Cool on wire racks and snap into large pieces or cut into squares. These will keep in an
airtight jar or container for 2 weeks if they last for that long!
